Haizhen Wang is practicing his imaginative approach to women’s identity in a bold way. Influenced by the contemporary cultural, feminist and philosophy theory, Haizhen Wang’s style embodies the crucial relationship between function and design.
Grounded in the intellectual approach, Haizhen Wang’s designs express the reinterpretation and heritage of the classical British tradition, the process of the being, and take the neutral, or unisex as the cutting-edge.
Haizhen Wang incorporates a mixture of high quality fabrics with professional finishing to produce signature tailored jackets and soft pieces that are both extraordinary and functional.
Having graduated from Central Saint Martins with an MA (Hons) in Womenswear, and completing a BA at the London College of Fashion, has lead him to an employment at Max Mara, Boudicca and All Saints, before launching his eponymous label in 2010, and opening his own HAIZHEN WANG boutique in Portobello Road, London.
In 2012 Haizhen has been awarded the prestigious FASHION FRINGE award from Christopher Bailey, the Chief Creative Officer of Burberry.
