Zara Umrigar launched in 2011, with it’s focus on intricately hand embroidered pieces and a modern twist on the designer’s love for all things Old Hollywood Glamour. Inspired by the contradiction between a time gone by and the world we live in today, her classic pieces exude grace, beauty and opulence with great attention to detail. While her luxury vintage stores are reflection of her royal lineage, the designer hopes to create piece that will remain timeless and relevant, for generations to come.

Discovering her love for Fashion early on, Zara Umrigar would observe her mother, renowned Indian wear designer – Sabita Dhanrajgir Umrigar at work and was always enamoured by the intricacies that went into making each piece.

In a few short years, Zara has launched stand alone stores across India , has graced the cover of several fashion magazines and has had her creations adorned by some of the most coveted celebrities in both Hollywood and Bollywood. An already established brand in the global fashion industry, Zara Umrigar continues to grow and make her mark worldwide.
