Josef LAZO, Head of Design, with a B.A. in fashion design at London College of Fashion, Lazo has consulted international luxury brands in the fields of knitwear development, embellishment and leather manipulation before co-founding LAZOSCHMIDL. 

Andreas SCHMIDL, Artistic Director, educated as humanist writer with a M.A. in German and Japanese literature, the intellectual mind behind LAZOSCHMIDL is continuously investigating contemporary culture and developing each collection through writing. Known for norm-breaking and uncompromising collections that are based on creative writing, LAZOSCHMIDL has been awarded the Innovation Prize by Swedish Fashion Council and is being stocked in leading concept boutiques worldwide ranging from Opening Ceremony (Los Angeles & New York) to Voo Store (Berlin) and 50m (London).
