Born in Paraguay in 1990, Ilse Jara studies Fashion Design at Universidad Americana of Asunción in her own country and, soon after, moved to Milan to develop her designer skills further. Here, she enrolls in the Fashion Design & Production Management master’s at Istituto Marangoni, where she graduates in 2012. Interested in exploring the possibility of merging technological innovations and a modern aesthetic with natural materials and traditional techniques, Ilse launches her eponymous brand in 2010. Ever since she’s been taking part in all the major fashion events in Paraguay. Her work and creativity did not pass unnoticed; after graduating from Istituto Marangoni in London, Ilse receives a Mention of Honor at the IFS in the British capital in 2014.
