Due to the fashion industry’s contribution to global warming, the Arab Fashion Council has founded the AFC GREEN LABEL, an initiative that promotes a responsible approach to the environment by selecting ethical materials and upcycling. 

Aiming to lobby the industry leaders to make a change, the AFC sponsors fashion brands from across the world that are deemed fit according to the AFC’s guidelines for the sustainable fashion industry in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. 

The supported brands receive sponsorship by the AFC to showcase their collection during the Arab Fashion Week, aiming to promote the public choice toward a more responsible industry.
